Smoked Sweet & Savory Bacon

Bacon cooked on the smoker is hands down the BEST. BACON. EVER. But this seasoned Sweet & Savory Bacon on the smoker elevates it! This doesn’t take very long to make (less than 30 minutes), and your taste buds and whoever else you are cooking for will never have bacon another way again.

What you’ll need:
– Bacon (my favorite is Farmer John’s Classic Bacon), center cut is great as well. Just make sure it has a nice amount of fat running through the slices.
– Your favorite seasoning (Miner’s Mix Memphis is my go-to for this)
– Smoker (again, I use a mixture of Jim Beam & Traeger Signature pellets)

Seasoning Used:
Miners Mix Maynards Memphis

Set your smoker to 400F and let heat up. While this gets up to temp, season one side of your bacon. You can season both sides, but one side will be plenty. While you wait, you can enjoy a nice cup of coffee or drink of choice. 🙂

Once your smoker is above 400 degrees, add your bacon directly to the grill and let smoke for about 5 minutes, flip and cook for another five minutes. You don’t want to burn the bacon, so flip when it is starting to look crispy on the ends.

After you flip, allow the bacon to cook on the second side for another 3-5 minutes, or until all sides start to crisp up. Remember, bacon will continue to cook for another minute or two once you pull off the grill.

Plate up and pair up with whatever else you’re eating, or just much on this all day, whatever you’re into and ENJOY!
